Come to Petrie Island in Orleans and learn about native and naturalized wildflowers. Stroll through the wildflower garden and along the trails maintained by the Friends of Petrie Island (FOPI) and see these flowers in a natural setting. Throughout the warmer seasons, flowering flora (plants and shrubs) are marked with informational signage (in English with French plant name) that provides details on the species and its ecological, medicinal and edible properties. You can even learn about some aquatic plants and various trees.

Parking is $2 for the day.
Bike racks are on site (at beach by lifeguard station and near nature centre)
